So myself and a friend downloaded and got Black Ice up and running.Going through the content found some focuses, and technologies that didn't have thorough descriptions.Like how building specialized factories nerfs the IC cost of building relevant weapons of war. We figured it out, and there is that part in the beginning telling you about the efficiency building nature of having factories, but it didn't click until I got some tank factories rolled out.There's a crazy high amount of specialized equipment to build now and to keep your forces properly reinforced.

I find most of my production lines having 1-2 factories, even as Germany, to keep up with probably 15-20 different things I am building.( Overall i'm beside myself with how fantastic it all is. The depth, and how crazy specific you can now run your country.

)I have 2 general questions because I'm not sure on this.1) Does Black Ice modify world tension at all? If not so I can run Perfect Storm with it to make the Axis have some more time to be the aggressors they are.2) Does anyone have any tips that make the 1936-1938 timeframe more streamlined? I think they should nerf the cost of military facotires by about 25% and leave the specialized factories to be where they are.As germany i built like 7 civ factories a tad of infrastructure for east prussia for the polish invasion, and then only was able to build about 6 mil factories and 1 or 2 of each specialized factory. I feel that's a bit low imo for civilian construction.

Basically never build specialty factories you will get them as you conquer. They are extreamly inefficient. The only point where building specialty is good is if you have more then 100 military factories inside that specific category and less then 20 of a specialty.

So 2.45 factories have to be equal to a full factory in terms of efficiency. This puts the break point at 40 factories. You need 40 factories all making small arms (or any 4 steel production things) for the special building to be more efficient.
